Welcome to the 6th Grade Yellow Team And Room 238

100 Point Club Everyone starts with 100 points Points are lost for signing Discipline Log. Most infractions are 2-5 points Must have 60 pts. at end of 9-weeks to attend the 100 Pt. Club celebration Points start over at beginning of each quarter

Agenda Passes All agendas have a page with 5 passes for each 9-week grading period Passes primarily used for restroom and locker Use all five passes and points are taken away to get things out of lockers Encourage your kids to be as organized as possible!!!!!!!!

Electronics Policy Cell phones should be OFF & AWAY iPads are expected to be charged EVERYDAY. Set an alarm to remind them each night? Consequences for those breaking rules

iPad Tidbits Please DO NOT email your child during school & they shouldn’t be emailing you either. No alarms should be set that go off during class. Photos of other students shouldn’t be on the iPads without permission. iPads are to be off unless being used for class. That includes during passing periods. Set an alarm for charging them each night.

Math Homework Policy Homework will be random. None Fridays Missing work = name in “book” and an F in the gradebook Turn HW in next day with no grade penalty Turn in 2 or more days late = loss of 10% Missing work can be turned in until the last week of a grading period No reminders will be given--RESPONSIBLE

Honors Grade Expectations Students enrolled in Honors classes are expected to maintain grades of 73% (C) or better throughout their enrollment in the classes. If a student receives a 70-72% (C-) or lower at the end of the first, second, or fourth nine weeks grading period, he/she will be moved down a course level at the start of the following grading period. If a student receives a 70-72% (C-) or lower at the end of the third nine weeks grading period, he/she will remain in the class through the school year, but moved down a course level at the start of the next school year.
