There will be a daily bulletin of activities on the website. Clothing (this is a suggested list) Take plenty of clothing in case of wet weather. Clothing should be old. Nightwear Underwear Socks, including over ankle length - plenty  3 or more fleeces / Sweatshirts / jumpers 3 T-shirts 1 Long sleeved T-shirt 3 pairs of old trousers (not jeans) 2 for activities, one for evening 2 pairs of trainers (1 for wet activities) ·  1 pair of shoes/trainers/slippers for indoors Waterproof jacket Warm Hat + gloves Wellington boots (If bringing wellies please bring knee length socks) Broomlee Residential Camp 10th – 12th October 2018 Information for Parents Pupil expectations All children attending Broomlea Camp must follow the behaviour expectations: Respect all camp and all school staff. Respect all property. Respect each other. Show good manners at all times. Take this opportunity to have fun and get to know other children and staff. No sweets or food should be brought to camp. No eating or drinking on the bus. No electronic equipment of any kind to be brought. Labelled disposable cameras only please—children must take responsibility for these if they choose to bring one. No mobile phones.   Who: All Primary 5 pupils are invited to attend the Broomlee Residential camp. Why: This camp aims to support our values the 5Rs. The children will be given the opportunity to meet and work with each other. Camp also provides the opportunity to challenge themselves to learn new skills as well as develop team building skills with their peers. Other Essentials Wash bag (soap & toothbrush etc.) Roll on deodorant only please Lip Balm Sun cream 1 large towels Torch & batteries Water bottle Small Bag/Rucksack Labelled plastic bags / bin liners (for wet/dirty items) You will not need Mobile phones Electronic games/equipment Hair-dryer/straighteners etc Aerosols Money (All snacks will be provided)   Consequences · If food, sweets, phones or electronic equipment are brought to camp it will be kept by school staff until we return to school. If any bad behaviour occurs a clear warning will be given. If the behaviour continues after this warning this will result in the children missing an activity and staying with the management team or a member of staff. If bad behaviour is repeated a phone call will be made to parents and a child may be sent home. This would be done in consultation with the head teacher.
