If you are buying your first tablet, you may be asking yourself: What is the best tablet? What should I buy? You have 2 choices of tablets. Tablets by Apple known as IPad Androids by Google Both tablets operate in a similar manor. Both have their own unique features. When you are shopping for a tablet, take the time to ask questions.

How much FREE memory does the tablet have? 64 GB minimum (recommended) Can I install a memory card to expand the memory? If YES, what is the maximum memory card can I install? 64 GB min IF NO, should I buy this tablet? Can I use google maps? How long will the battery last if I’m on the internet? What Price is the tablet? What is the tablet model and who is the manufacturer?

On the internet look for several: Reviews on the model your thinking of buying. Look at alternate to the model. Are tutoring videos (on you tube) available. Get your friends and acquaintances opinions. Now you are ready to buy or go back to shopping. After you purchase your table take a course on tablets to help with some of the features.

I suggest installing only the Application you are interested in. The more APPlications you install the greater is the memory usage. The first thing you should do after unpacking your new tablet is, read the manual. The manual may be installed on the tablet or you can review your manual on the internet. On the internet search for “tablet name and model number” This will save you a great deal of time. After the tablet is setup, the screen displays a group of icons for the APPlication available.

If you are new to tablets, I recommend you take the seminar. When you purchase the unit asked the salesperson to setup the tablet for you. You are asking them to install a password when the tablet is open and to setup your email. Write down all passwords given to you and keep them in a safe place. The most common mistake is not keeping a record of passwords. If you are setting up your tablet, get a manual on the internet and follow the instructions

On my tablet the camera Icon looks like this. Setting the camera should be done before any camera shoot session. The most important setting is the picture size. The picture size will determine the byte space you will use for each picture you take. On the left the picture size selection is shown. If you do not have an additional memory card, your tablet may run out of memory

We can view the pictures on the tablet Email them to family or a friend Transfer them to your computer hard drive Send the pictures to google Photos NO: 1 We can view the pictures on the tablet. Tablet have an APP called Gallery NO 2: Email them to family or a friend NO 3: Transfer them to your computer hard drive NO 4: Send the pictures to google Photos For this option you will need an APP called My files. Transferring Photos can be challenging but if you persist you can master the transfer

On the right is a photo of my computer Click on the Galaxy Tab E and the screen on the right is displayed. I can select Tablet or Card (if I have an SD card installed) I clicked on Tablet and my folders are displayed. From this location I can send (upload) files to the tablet or I can copy (download) to my computer.
