Call to Attention - When I need your attention, I will raise my hand - As soon as you see the signal, stop what you are doing, look at me, and listen for directions. Call to Attention

As soon as you get a paper, print your first and last names, the date, and your period at the top on the right-hand side. Put the assignment title on the top in the center. Labeling Papers

Turning in Assignments - Make sure your assignment is properly labeled - Place your paper upside down in the "finished work" basket. Turning in Assignments

“Free” Time Read a book Write a story Draw a lesson-related picture If you finish an assignment, first work on any unfinished assignments When you finish those, you may choose to: Read a book Write a story Draw a lesson-related picture Work on a research project “Free” Time

- If I am not teaching the whole group, put up the peace sign to let me know you have to go - If I say "no," wait for a better class time - If I nod, take the pass, sign it with your name, date and time, and leave the room quietly - Return to class promptly. Restroom Procedure

Class Dismissal - Clean off your desk - Pick up any trash within three feet of your desk - Move your desk to how you found it - Wait quietly to be dismissed by me. Class Dismissal
