Chief Executive Enforce the laws Appoint judges, diplomats, & high ranking government officials (with Senates confirmation) Remove appointed officials from office within the executive branch Oversees the bureaucracy of the executive branch

Commander-in-Chief In charge of the military Makes final decision on all military maneuvers Powers as Commander-in-Chief are stronger in times of war
