Class Routines & Procedures AKA : How We Do Things

Entering the Classroom: Get materials out Put backpacks out of walkway Sharpen pencils Start “Do Now”

Pass Procedure Fill out your yellow pass Where you are going Date and Time Bring it to Mrs. Shumate to sign. Hall, Office & Clinic passes are on the front whiteboard in a white basket

Bathroom Pass Procedure Go before class. Let Mrs. Shumate or someone know you are there. Do not ask when someone is talking, during a lesson or a movie unless it is an emergency Write the date and time on the log Fill out your pass Bring the log and pass to Mrs. Shumate to initial.

MEDIA Pass Procedure Get a media pass from the wood bin on the front table Fill out the info Bring to Mrs. Shumate to sign

Clean Up Procedure Clean desk and floor Put class materials away neatly

Dismissal Procedure Do not pack up or leave until told to. Do not run to or out the door. If it is getting close to the end of class, remind Mrs. Shumate.

Work Name, Period, Class Number - 2 points each if missing. Papers with no name or left in class go in the red folder. Put papers in the bin for my class period or where Mrs. Shumate tells me to put them. Keep classwork in your binder it will be graded after the test.
