Making Edline Work For Us! Group Home Page Explore the Command Center Adding Internet Web Links Posting “News” on your class pages Posting to the Edline Calendar. This is the Pawnee High School Teacher’s Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to all of your classes.

Group Home Page Navigation Bar Groups are simply an on-line version of the various organizations in your school. Groups are things like schools, teachers, classes, clubs, and sports. This is the Pawnee High School Teacher (Anita Kern’s) Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to ALL of your classes. You cannot really change anything on this page, however you can add contents to the “My Contents” shortcut box. A group is a place where people involved in a particular school, class, or activity can come to find out and share information about the group.

Shortcut Boxes This is the Pawnee High School Teacher (Anita Kern’s) Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to ALL of your classes. You cannot really change anything on this page, however you can add contents to the “My Contents” shortcut box. Shortcut boxes allow you to quickly view your own classes, activities, and personal documents. They also allow you to view this same information for any student you are linked to. There are three types of shortcut boxes: shortcuts to other people, shortcuts to documents (like gradebooks and upcoming tests), and shortcuts to classes and other groups.

Command Center This is the Pawnee High School Teacher (Anita Kern’s) Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to ALL of your classes. You cannot really change anything on this page, however you can add contents to the “My Contents” shortcut box. Your Command Center lists the special functions you can perform. If you are a teacher, a coach, or the supervisor of a club or other activity, you will see the options related to managing your group (class, activity, sport, etc.).

Contents Box This is the Pawnee High School Teacher (Anita Kern’s) Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to ALL of your classes. You cannot really change anything on this page, however you can add contents to the “My Contents” shortcut box. The Contents box contains important information about this group in the form of documents. Most documents are stored in folders to keep them organized. The name of each folder tells you what's inside. For example assignments are in the "Assignments" folder, grades are in the "Current Grades" folder, and so on.

Links Box The Links box contains links to other web sites that may be useful to members of this group. This is the Pawnee High School Teacher (Anita Kern’s) Group Home Page. Anything you post on this page is visible to ALL of your classes. You cannot really change anything on this page, however you can add contents to the “My Contents” shortcut box.

The News box contains documents like special announcements and important reminders that you want people to see right away. The most recently created or modified items are always listed at the top of the box. News Box To add, modify, or delete items in this box, use the "Edit" button at the top of the box. If you do not see the "Edit" button, that means you do not have permission to add items to the News box on this page.

The Calendar box lists the next five events from this group's calendar. To add, modify, or delete events from the calendar, or to see the full calendar, click the "Edit" button at the top of the box. If you do not see the "Edit" button, that means you do not have permission to add items to the Calendar box on this page.
