The Chapter Leader Webinar Series C2C The Chapter Leader Webinar Series OFFICE HOURS Wednesday June 20, 2018

Participating in the Discussion SPEAK UP “Raise your hand” from the top menu bar if you’d like to be unmuted to ask your question out loud. SPELL IT OUT Type your question or comment in the Chat window. The default setting is “to everyone”, meaning your message will be visible to all attendees. Use the small drop-down in the top right corner to start a private chat with the host or an individual attendee.

Chapter Relations Team Jessie Burgess Tanya Russick Luci Blodgett

Year-End Reports Officer Roster (due May 15) All chapter officers must be current NCMA members. Submitting your officer rosters is required for officers to start receiving chapter officer communications and access to restricted resources (like the rosters, and the private community on Collaborate). Financial Report Must reflect June 30 balances in all accounts. Checks (or other payments) that have not cleared by June 30 should not be included. PDF of final bank account statement(s) must be attached. Annual Audit (checklist) Must be performed by a non-officer. https://www.ncmahq.org/connect-with-peers/local-chapters/chapter-leader-resources/chapter-forms

Year-End Reports Executive Summary New this year: the Chapter Excellence Award application immediately follows the executive summary form (in the same document). The executive summary is still required, but the award application is optional. We encourage you to think of the application as an extension of the summary, or a chance to provide more details demonstrating what made your chapter *excellent* this year. Chapter Bylaws There were no new changes required by the national Board this past year. If your bylaws were approved at the end of PY2017, no updates are necessary. Please submit with the rest of your year-end reports even if there were no changes since last year. Conflict of Interest Policy New officers must read and sign the Conflict of Interest policy. Copies should be retained by the chapter Secretary. (They do not need to be submitted to headquarters.) https://www.ncmahq.org/connect-with-peers/local-chapters/chapter-leader-resources/chapter-forms

Summer Chapter Leader Summit Attention tech gurus: We are still looking for a couple more presenters for the Summer Chapter Leader Summit. Presentations should be no more than ten minutes long, and should focus on one to three new technologies that your chapter has adopted in order to reach or engage more of your chapter members. Submit your statement of interest online (link below), or email luci.blodgett@ncmahq.org for more information. Attending World Congress? Don’t forget to register for the Summer Chapter Leader Summit. It’s only $25 to attend, and it’s taking place the Sunday before the main event – 7/22 at 1:00pm. https://www.ncmahq.org/connect-with-peers/local-chapters/chapter-leader-resources/summer-chapter-leader-summit-2018

Annual Membership Meeting 2018 Friday, June 22, 2018 12:00PM Eastern The annual membership meeting will be presented by our interim executive director, Keith Litrenta (CFO), and the current national president of the board, Kim Rupert. This presentation will be hosted live on Friday, July 22, and the recording will be made available to all NCMA members. Registration link is listed below. http://ncmahq.adobeconnect.com/ncma-annual-meeting-2018/event/registration.html

Questions? “Raise your hand” if you’d like to be un-muted to ask a question. Not connected by phone? Type your question in the chat window. We’ll read and answer as many as possible. Ask the chapter relations team OR ask each other.
