2. Growth Growth plan for 3 year period:
Achieve net growth over a 3 year period
Achieve an annual Exchange Club membership growth of a figure to be determined by the board.  (Currently 3%)
Minimum members in a district: 300
(non-Excel or Collegiate) by June 30, 2020
Minimum clubs per district: 15

3. Leadership Development
Develop a 3-year leadership plan of succession
District board members attend all district meetings.
33% of clubs attend district conventions/conferences.
Majority of club presidents-elect receive leadership education, i.e. Exchange University or other training.
Majority of district board receive leadership training.
District president attends National Leadership Summit.
District president-elect attends Mid-Year Leadership Summit.
District president and president-elect attend National Convention.

33% of a district’s clubs earn the National Service Award.
50% of a district’s clubs participate in prevention of child abuse projects.
District develop an awards program that recognizes exemplary and innovative activities of the district’s clubs.

District and club officers complete Exchange University modules.
Provide consistent and meaningful district and club officer training opportunities.

Hold at least 3 board meetings that are attended by a majority of district board members.
Prepare and approve district’s annual operating budget by July 1.
District president files timely monthly reports.
Annual audit of district financial records completed by October 31.

Growth: have you considered merging with another district, within the district or growing Exchange within your district?
All district goals should be achievable and realistic.

What can you do?
Set reasonable goals.
Year-round recruiting, lifestyle prospecting, identifying community leaders and people with similar passion, market your clubs, use social media, and brainstorm.
Have a district club building plan with a schedule for upcoming club building projects.
Identify places in your area that need an Exchange Club. Find a key person to help charter a club and JUST DO IT!
