Highest point The highest point in Ukraine is Mount Hoverla, 6,762 feet, it is also part of the Carpathian Mountains.

Most popular sport The most popular sport in Ukraine is football (soccer).

A festival that is celebrated and why/ what is it about? Kiev summer music festival, on late weekends from late May to the middle of July, the music ranges from classic and modern performances to jazz.

Most exported goods and famous companies One of the most exported good in Ukraine is ferrous. One of the famous companies in Ukraine is Kyivstar, a mobile network.

Is the country part of the european union and when did it join? Yes, it joined June 27, 2014.

Famous celebrity Mila Kunis is an actress from Chernivtsi, Ukraine.

Was the country involved in World War 1? Yes, the western part of Ukraine was part of Austria-Hungary and the eastern part was with Russia because, they had to fight on both sides, the Austrians and the Russians.

Was the country involved in WWII? Yes, they were on the American’s side. They were invested a lot, because of the killing of the jews. No, it was part of Czechoslovakia and known as Carpatho- Ukraine.
