What are the responsibilities of the Board? Promote programs of Christian nurture according to the needs of your local congregation Organize and administer educational ministries: Sunday School, CYF, YA, Vacation Bible School,Training classes for new members, Continuing education classes for officers, boards and auxiliaries, Bible Studies etc. Programs on the history doctrine and polity of the CME Church

Responsibilities (page 3) Be sure materials used are approved by the General Department of Christian Education See that there are ministries for all ages Children (Ages 1-11), Youth (12-17), Young Adults (18-35), Adults (36 and Above) See that youth and young adult week is celebrated (last Sunday in January, ending first Sunday in February)
