Best Practice of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Maintenance of monthly SMC Meeting Register, Point discussed by the SMC members in the school is noted in the register. Tasting of food by teachers on rotation basis is made compulsory and the record is kept in register on daily basis at school level. Trained all cooks, helpers and other functionaries in hygienic habits like regular cutting of nails, washing of hands and feet with liquid soap before commencement of cooking/serving etc. All the children wash their hands before and after having their Meal. Due to conducting of Social Audit , Ownership and Transparency, participation & Involvement of the SMC members was seen. Sweet Dish “ served thrice in a week such as (Sukhadi, Sheera and Lapsi). Ag-mark condiments and Double Fortified Salt is used. Installation of Suggestion Box in all the 281 Schools of Dadra & Nagar Haveli

Preparation of contingency/medical plan in case of any untoward incident The Department has circulated a circular asking the Head masters to stick on wall the important numbers of Contact No. of Ambulance. Contact No. of Near by Hospital. Contact No. of Near by Police Station. Contact No. of Fire Brigade Office. Proposal for year 2017-18 Distribution of Coloring Banners for Maintenance of Cleanness, Hygiene in Kitchen and surrounding of the schools.
