Best Practices Additional Fund of Rs. 2000/- per month for Honorarium to Cook cum Helpers, Additional Fund of Rs.2.95/-per child cooking cost in Primary and Rs per child inUpper Primary. Additional Fund for Transporting hot cooked meal from Centralised Kitchen to School is borne by UT Admn.. from their sown resources (Rs Lacs granted for FY ). Advance provision of funds for MDMS from UT Resources at the start of Financial Year. Approx. 100% Children having Aadhaar. 100% LPG used as source of Fuel in MDMs (in Centralised / Cluster Kitchen). 85% School having Water Filtration Facility by using the MPLAD Funds. Fortification of Rice & Wheat introduced by UT through using of CSR Funds. All the Schools having Multi tap facility for hand washing. Kitchens Garden has been started in cluster based kitchens. Innovations etc. It is proposed that the States and UTs may also be given flexibility to utilize, with prior approval of MHRD, 5% of their Annual Work Plan & Budget for new interventions provided they are not included under any of the Central or State Schemes and there is no overlapping of activities. This is subject to CCEA approval. Some of the suggested innovation may be in the field of Water filters, kitchen gardens, provision of LPG connections, use of millets etc. These are only illustrative and not exhaustive.
