Part Four Present your work

My magazine My magazine was womens health. This magazine focuses on health, nutrition, fitness, sex, and lifestyle. It is published 10 times a year and has a circulation of 1.5 million readers. The magazine has 13 international editions growing across 25 different countries and reaching more than 8 million readers globally. I feel my feature fits in well with this because it is on a woman and has parts in it about health and overall is about lifestyle.

Development stage I have all my sketches in a written book. I got her to send me all the pictures from her trip so I had a wide selection to choose from for my work.

Final page layout

Reflection Overall my designs and all my research did help me a lot to broaden my ideas of what I could have done for my layout of my feature. It made me think of many different ways I could have done it so that when it came down to it I could have chosen the best one for my work. I am extremely happy with my final results, I feel it looks even better than I hoped it would with the colours matching well and the text flowing nicely around all the images. Throughout this project I have learnt how to use indesign which I had no clue how to use before. I also picked up some amazing interview/ feature writing skills which will be very useful too me in any kind of journalism. If I could do it again I would have managed my time better so it was slightly more spread out so I could have put some more time in to getting it absolutely perfect, but as saying that I am extremely happy with my outcome and wouldn’t choose to change much.
