2. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Logo Idea 1 I do not want this logo to be my final logo because needs more colour. Logo idea 2 I do not want this logo to be my final logo because its to colourful. Logo idea 3 I WANT this logo to be my final logo because its my going to be my logo one day.

3. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Business card Logo- so that as soon as u see it they know its us. Colours- match my logo. Advertising- so that they know that I have the right skills. Name- so that they know who I am. Job- so that they know what I do Address- so that they can email me. Contact info- so that they can contact me. Business cards are used to give out to people to advertise you and your business. They can be a useful tool for a business because they get people to look at the card and they get info. Most business cards include a range of contact information such as there number and email address so that people who have been given the card can contact you whenever they want. In my business card I included all of this information so that they can understand what we do and that they can get the right people for the job. I also included my name and job title so that they can understand what we do and that they know my name as well. Finally, I thought about the design carefully and made sure I choose a design which looked like it fitted with the job and a colour scheme which matched the colours in my logo so that so that it look nice.

If a company has letters sent out on headed paper then it shows that the company is legitimate. Letterheads should include name, job, logo, colour scheme and address. These things are important so that the person receiving the letter can understand and don’t get confused. My letterhead included my logo and the design and colour scheme matched the ones on my business card. I did this so because it looked more professional. I also included a range of contact information so that the person receiving the letter knew how to get in touch if they wanted to.

5. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Newsletter Newsletters are important because they give the person reading it articles to read about things they are interested in. They are often free and are used to get more and more people interested in your specialist field. A good newsletter should include a wide range of info and contacts like phone number and email so that the person reading it can read an article that is understandable for them. Newsletters should also include phone number and email. My newsletter included a range of articles which all included so that it has loads of different things. It also included page numbers and points of interest so that they know what article was on which page. Finally, it included a lot of information about my company such as my logo, contacting info and a paragraph advertising the company so I could hopefully make some more contacts from having the newsletter.

8. I have used the templates available in Publisher because the template is more smarter and its faster. I used the same design for my business card, letterhead and newsletter because it will mean that costumers will remember us. I f one of my designs was different then they might not recognise it and so might not use the business. I used the same colour scheme for my business card, newsletter and letterhead because it is more electronic and matches the design of the logo. If I had chosen a different colour like pink for one of my products then it would stand out but not in a good way as it wouldn’t match. Overall I think my business card, letterhead and newsletter look professional because I like green and black and the fact it stands out just the way it is. 1.2 I can describe how to change page design and layout to increase effectiveness of a publication.

9. 2.3 Describe how copyright constraints affect use of own and others’ information. Copyright law means that we can’t use someone else work and say it is ours. It is important to follow copyright law because if you don’t then we can get into lots of trouble and even get arrested. In my work I followed copyright law by making sure that the articles I used in my newsletter were included in my resources document. By doing this I was able to proove that I didn’t steal the articles but borrowed them. I also followed copyright when creating my logo as the design came from vista print. I followed this by putting the logo and the vista print website into my source and store table.

This file format can comprise various objects such as graphics, images, formatted text, or any other kind of object. PUB file types are usually used for amateur publishing while professionals usually choose more high end file types..PDF - Portable Document Format is a file format used to present documents in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems..JPEG/.JPG - a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital images, particularly for those images produced by digital photography. The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable trade off between storage size and image quality..PNG - Portable network graphics, is a format that employs lossless data compression..PSD – Photoshop document is a file generated by adobe photoshop..TIFF - TIFF stands for "Tagged Image File Format" and is a standard in the printing and publishing industry. TIFF files are significantly larger than their JPEG counterparts, and can be either uncompressed or compressed using lossless compression.

11. Publisher is a type of software we can use to create a wide range of publications by using templates. If some creates something using publisher and sends it to someone who doesn’t have publisher then they won’t be able to open the file. This can be avoided if they saved the file as a PDF because it means they don’t need the software. This can be useful because it will be more convenient and will save you time. If an image file is created using Photoshop and someone doesn’t have Photoshop then they can save the file as a range of file types. These file types are JPEG, PNG and TIFF and all have different properties such as quality, file size and transparency. Because I want to print my business card and newsletter, I saved them as a PNG because this is a small file size. but is also good quality. 2.4 I can describe which file format to use for saving designs and images.
