The Supreme Court Is the most powerful Court system in the Judicial Branch Duty: They hear cases dealing with upholding the U.S. Constitution

Original Jurisdiction The Supreme Court has Original Jurisdiction in 2 cases: Disputes from foreign countries Disputes between states.

Supreme Courts make up Made up of: 8 associate justices 1 Chief Justice John G. Roberts

Who selects the Justices??? The president appoints Supreme Court Justices, with the approval of the Senate The Senate typically gives the president advise in appointing a new justice
