Quick Overview 2 Releases a year for the foreseeable future Projects – Interfacing, eTertiary New Product Development process Rolling 5-10 Year Plan Design Groups National Mandatory Audits R1 = audits, R2 = user led changes Interoperability: Interfacing – currently working on ADT – Admission, Discharge, Transfer – Other ideas are Imaging Investigations, Pathology, Radiotherapy, Chemo Apps – AO Module, CNS App, Surgical App New Product Dev process – big ideas focussed on areas of the system e.g. Event Diary, CNS module, MDT module, Acute Oncology module, redesign of individual Tumour Sites – CWT and COSD remain as core items, with site specific fields catered for. 5-10 year rolling plan will incorporate these projects and Product Development ideas Design Groups – we want to involve users of SCR in the requirements gathering activities to ensure we develop SCR in a way that will really benefit the wider user community – we’d like commitment from anyone contributing Product Development ideas to join a Design Group and also do some User Acceptance Testing to make sure the design works in the most common ‘real life’ situations.

Topics Pathways Surgical Procedures Data access eTertiary Q&A These topics have been influenced by some of the queries that have come back in response to Helen’s email

Pathways Recurrence and Metastatic Disease Benign neoplasms Dataviews can be used Standard benign lesion pathway agreed? Metastatic Disease Use same PPI number. COSD and CWT require treatments for recurrent or metastatic disease to be recorded separately, although rules are that the same ICD10 Diagnosis should be used – the PPI is used to link the events. Can link a Primary to a Recurrence or a Metastatic referral either when the referral is first created or via the Admin screens. The linked referrals will then display as linked via the Patient’s Referral Summary screen and on each POV, there will be separate views to all Investigations, Diagnosis, Treatments and Pathologies. Same PPI will also be used when the linking process is followed. Benign Neoplasms – what’s the difference between non-cancer and benign? Patient Status is no new cancer diagnosis identified/Tumour Status is Non-cancer – get a Date of Non-cancer and Non-cancer details, plus Non-cancer Diagnosis menus where can select Neoplasms C00-D48

Surgical Procedures Codes and PBR: Theatre Staff, OP Notes, Post Op Searchable lists Top 10 Procedures Bespoke Sarcoma Procedure list Theatre Staff, OP Notes, Post Op Work with you to identify the procedures you would want to be included and the combinations thereof e.g. the Y and Z codes combos if there wasn’t a single suitable description. Any thoughts on using SNOMed CT? For lipomas – who would these patients be referred to?

Surgery - Treatment Event Type COSD and CWT – reported as a code in the downloads, but the definitions for these are available in the CWT Guide v8.0.
