1 POC Open House Welcome to the POC Open House. My name is _____ and today we will learn about the iPad Courses for the Month of September. If you have any questions during the training please post in the chat or hold until the end where we will host an open forum. We Expect this presentation to last 10 minutes. We do have an agent working the chat which they will update as we go through this presentation, and they’ll be available for questioning.

We will first review and go over what the iPad Courses are, the Implementation for these courses, prerequisites for each course, an overview Notes and Dictation, an overview of Basic Skills which is a combination of the two courses that were offered last month in August, a look at what is coming soon, our wiki page, then a Q&A session.

3 What are the iPad Courses?
Live mini trainings for the end users presented via a Lync Meeting. Estimated time of the different courses are minutes, plus an open forum after. Two Courses on Tuesday One on Wednesday and Thursday iPad Courses have more specific topics than the general overview done during deployments. has been set as a contact specifically for the iPad Courses. So first off, what are these iPad Courses? These courses are going to be short sessions for the iPad users offered through Lync by clicking on the link in the notification. These courses are so users can understand their devices a little more and become more confident in using them. The courses are meant to be short; around 20 to 30 minutes with a 10 minute open forum afterwards that will be optional. Last month we had done one course for Tuesday through Friday, but due to low attendance on Fridays, we are going to offer them earlier in the week at a later time. The courses will be available twice on Tuesday and then Wednesday and Thursday. These courses are planned to be more specific than the general Deployment Trainings. is the created specifically for these iPad Courses. 4 Implementation Training Dates for August Approximate Time
Session Times for the Month of September Tuesday at 8 AM CST Tuesday at 4 PM CST Wednesday at 10 AM CST Thursday at 3 PM CST Training Dates for August Approximate Time Notes and Dictation Week of the 5th 25 Minutes New Users Class Week of the 12th 30 Minutes Week of the 19th Basic Skills Week of the 26nd 20 Minutes Users will hear about these courses by both and a push notification sent to their iPad devices and VA twice a month. Only users that are enrolled in Airwatch Agent will receive the invitation. Users that are not enrolled will not receive the invitation and will need to enroll to Airwatch Agent per VA policy. If users need assistance in enrolling their devices, please have them contact the Help Desk at and we will be able to assist them, that way they can receive the invitations for the courses. Each month, different iPad Courses will be offered. For the Month of September, the schedule is in the slide and will be in the invitation . 5 Prerequisites for the Courses
We recommend that each user performs a full sync in the Airwatch Agent application. This shows that the user is enrolled in the program and can successfully perform a sync with Airwatch Agent. VA policy recommends that users sync every 48 hours to remain compliant in the system to ensure patient safety and information. Users that cannot sync their device may not be able to perform all actions in the courses, but they can stay. We will ask them post their name and number in the chat and one of our technicians will reach out to them, either to help them enroll or troubleshoot accordingly.

6 Notes and Dictation Module 1: Prerequisites Module 2:
Writing and Dictation Module 3: Editing a note Module 4: Syncing with iCloud Module 5: Q&A In the Notes and Dictation we will cover the Prereqs like in every Course just to check compliance with the VA policies, We will then dive into writing and dictation in the Notes App, editing a note, and then how to sync with iCloud. This class has an expected time of 30 min. Then, to close out the Course we will end with our 10 minutes Question and Answer discussion for any remaining questions.

7 New Users Class Module 1: VA Mobile Service Desk Module 2: Lost Stolen
Settings Module 4: Airwatch Module 5: Good For Enterprise Module 6: CITRIX Receiver Module 7: Mobile PASS Module 8: Any Connect Module 9: Discussion The New Users’ Class will cover. The VA Mobile Service Desk, The Lost Stolen Process, Setting, Airwatch Agent, Good For Enterprise, CITRIX Receiver, Mobile PASS, Any Connect, and then Close for all Questions. The expected time for this Class is 30 min. We want to encourage all new users or users who have wiped there device and needs a refresher class to join us the second week of each month.

8 Basic Skills Module 1: Prerequisites Module 2: External Controls
Settings Module 4: Control center Module 5: Closing out apps Module 6: Q&A In the Basic Skills Course this month, it will be a blend of all the main points from the month of August, conjoining Basic Skills 101 and 102. Beginning with the Prerequisites again, we will go into the External Controls, Settings Functions, the Control Center, and Closing Applications. Afterwards we will have the Q&A. this class expected time is 20 min. it will be the last week of this month.

We will now screen share with the wiki and show what all is offered on this page.
