Fire Suppression System The fire suppression system consists of two portable extinguishers in the crew compartment and a fire detection system for the engine compartment.

Fire Suppression System MANUAL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM There is a portable fire extinguisher near the left side access door. There is a second portable fire extinguisher in the cupola ENGINE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM Engine fire is detected by a fire sensing wire suspended in the engine compartment The fire is announced on the fire extinguisher control panel The driver will pull out the engine stop “T” handle to stop the engine The driver or commander will activate the fire suppression system using the fire extinguisher control panel FM-200 fire suppressant will be distributed inside the engine compartment through two fire extinguishing nozzles

A: At 220 degrees the warning light is activated.

A: 26 psi at 12 mph Q: What do two steady lights on the BIT indicate for the CTIS? A: The system is confused and did not complete pressure adjustment. Q: Low coolant light may flash in what conditions? A: When operating on slopes or when bounced around.
