All About Red Pandas The Genus and the species are Aiurus fulgens. The Red Panda is also known as the Fire Fox.

The Diet of The Red Panda Omnivore Eats fruit, acorns, roots, eggs and even some small mammals Eats 200,000 leaves of bamboo a day.
