3. Both kinds of pandas eat bamboo. Red pandas may eat some fruits and berries as well as bamboo.

4. They have white, chubby bodies with black legs and a black band across the shoulders. They have white faces with black patches around the eyes and black ears. They have short tails. Red pandas look like raccoons. They have long, soft fur and bushy tails with rings. A dark reddish streak comes down from each eye.

5. Pandas “extra thumb” that grows from the have wrist of each front paw. They use their extra thumb to help hold the bamboo.
