The College Application Process (see Neon handout): Select colleges within your range (5-7, varying degrees of difficulty) Complete application online (college website or Common Application) Log-on to Naviance and request transcript (2 weeks notice) after you submit your application Request official SAT’s and/or ACT’s from testing agency Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid). Search for Scholarships in Naviance and HHS Website

Financial Aid (see blue sheet) The process for every student begins by completing the FAFSA through the federal government: www.fafsa.ed.gov FAFSA may not be completed until after October 1.
