Feeling nervous system??? Come and learn about everything nervous system like: What other body systems work with mine Parts of the brain Jobs of the major parts of the brain The different functions of the nervous system Harmful And Beneficial choices And much more

What other systems work with my body system The brain keeps our hearts beating and our lungs working It does it without us knowing or thinking about it The brain helps us think, see, hear, feel, and taste There are a lot of parts of the brain

Parts of the brain Frontal lobe Parietal lobe Temporal lobe Occipital lobe Cerebellum Brain stem Spinal cord Each part of the brain has its own job

Jobs of the major parts of the brain Spinal cord: connects all the nerves it goes down the back and the nerves spread out Cerebellum: is the part of the brain that helps you move and makes you balanced it does this by getting information from the spinal cord and nerves Brain stem: it controls and helps the breathing, and blood pressure, also body temperature, heart rhythms, and sleep patterns Frontal lobe

Describing the functions Working healthy brain Diseased brain Tired brain

Describing the functions Tired brain: short attention span, slow breathing, grumpiness, forgetful, stare in to space/zone out Diseased brain: screaming fits, speech problems, blurry vision, listening and attention problems Healthy awake brain: long attention span, interactive, excited or happy, focused

Beneficial choices Play music, do a puzzle, play a game, study a new language, paint a picture, write a story. You can also: where a helmet: when skiing, roller blading, skating, bike, skateboard, snowboarding, and always were a seat belt in a car Get lots of sleep 9 year olds need 10 hours and 10 year olds need 9½ hours

Harmful choices Alcohol, drugs, smoking, sleep disorders, eating disorders, eating to much sugar, rapidly shaking your head, to much work, exposure to bad chemicals, dangerous games, did you know even reading in the dark is a bad decision. So wear a helmet do not do drugs or alcohol and make sure you get enough sleep.

The choking game The choking game is a dangerous game. In the game is one person coking the other to get a feeling that they would get from drugs, most teens do that to show there parents that they are in charge or get the drug feeling without doing drugs or they think without the consequences [arrested from using illegal drugs/death]the high/excited feeling they get is from the thousands of bloods cells dying happens when the person lets go and the blood and oxygen gets back to the brain 250 – 1,000 teens die from the choking game every year

Bells palsy Bells palsy is when half of your face is paralyzed and unable too move. It is a dysfunction of the cranial [say cra-ni-al] nerve. The cranial nerve is the facial nerve. It is started by a brain tumor, stroke, or Lyme[say lime] disease. Some symptoms include: headaches, chronic middle ear infection, high blood pressure, diabetes.

Brain disease Child with half a brain Autism Nerves Brain Bill Nye!!!!!

This is a real human brain This is what the inside is like

How your choices affect the brain When you make an unhealthy choice your brain is affected. Also healthy choices affect the brain, anything you do affects the brain for example if you drink alcohol you brain will be damaged: but if you are good to your brain you and your brain will be happy and healthy

Good bye I hoped you learned everything I said you would I hoped you enjoyed know I well leave you with pictures
