Amadeus Queue Manager: challenges Queue monitoring within Amadeus Selling Platform is usually a quite important part of agents’ work The agents spend their time for many routine operations like wait list management, HX/HU/NO segments clearance, passengers ‘notification on TL etc. It is time and resource consuming On average 20% of agents’ time is spent on queue monitoring. That is 1,5 h per day, 1 working day per week However, the correct and on time queue monitoring is an important part of any travel agency workflow. Therefore it is possible to have today a cheap, easy to install and use solution Amadeus Q-Manager

What is Amadeus Queue Manager? Amadeus Q-Manager is a robotic solution allowing automated Queue monitoring within Amadeus Selling Platform. Amadeus Q-Manager provides a web based GUI where Travel Agency sets Queues to be monitored and Operations to be done within each queue. Once rules are entered and launched, Q-Manager checks in the Selling Platform every PNR from the dedicated Queue and performs the requested operation. Amadeus Q-Manager offers to Travel Agency the web based access to the reporting page and operation logs.

3 Amadeus Queue Manager Time Limit Reminder

Time Limit Reminder is a solution for automatic passenger notification about forthcoming time limit.

Time Limit Reminder Business need Check the coming time limit for non ticketed PNRs and notify passengers (via phone, e-mail etc.) is a daily charge for each travel agent. It takes a lot of time and is boring. Therefore it is very important for agent to have a tool which helps to automate this process. Today it is possible - Time Limit Reminder emails ticketing Time limit to agencies’ end customer.

Time Limit Reminder Overview Sends passenger the email reminder about ticket payment before the Time Limit date Identifies the notification date according to the travel agency’s settings: using remark in PNR sending notification x days prior to time-limit in the PNR (TKTL, TKXL) Passenger’s email address for notification is taken from APE field in the PNR E-mail customisation module is available Daily Notification report on all processed PNRs

Time Limit Reminder Agent creates PNR and sends into the source queue. Workflow Agent creates PNR and sends into the source queue. Q-manager checks the queue periodically and processes found PNRs. If all needed parameters are met Queue Manager sends the notification to the passenger’s e-mail.
