Quantitative Questions Analysis

Question 1 This question is almost always asked in every survey. I thought it was important to include it in my survey since It would give me an idea on both female and male opinions. Notice that the number of males and number of females are equal so that it is not biased and there is a fair result at the end.

Question 2 I asked this question because I think it helps a lot when it comes to identifying the target audience and the type of things that are liked and disliked by each age group.

Question 3 I think its important to find out how many times my target audience visit the cinema or the chance they would go to my movie if it were to be released. Most people answered this question with “Other” and had answers like “3 times a year, when a good movie is on”. This tells me that if the movie I make is good then people would be attracted.

Question 4 This question is one of the most important ones that I’ve included in my survey and it helps me a lot. Of course the genre I am doing is included (Horror thriller) in order for me to figure out how many people would actually watch a horror or thriller movie. Most people like watching comedy movies but there are a plenty which like horror/ mystery and thriller movies.

Question 7 This is important to ask since it gives me an idea of what kind of things people/ audience think are exciting or interesting to see in a horror movie so that I can think of something as interesting or exciting to include in my movie opening. Most people prefer jump scares since it gives tension and excitement.

Question 9 Both titles got almost the same exact results. However I got a plenty of good suggestions from the “Other” choices such as making a title with a number only, or a more mysterious kind of title. I think I will come up with a new title rather than one of the ones that I mentioned in the question.
