Elementary Report Cards In order to be consistent with the Performance Levels established by the NYS Education Department and aligned with core standards, the performance levels for students are as follows: Level 1 – Below Standard Student does not demonstrate an understanding of he content expected at this grade level. Level 2 – Meets basic Standard Student performance demonstrates a partial understanding of the content expected at this grade level. Level 3 – Meets Proficiency Standard Student performance demonstrates an understanding of the content expected at this grade level. Level 4 – Exceeds proficiency level – Student performance demonstrates a thorough understanding of he content expected at this grade level.

Responsibility Please do not deliver forgotten lunches, money, homework, or permission slips. Please allow your child to unpack their own backpacks… BUT it is a good idea to check for important notices.

Organization Please sign planners each night. They will be checked daily. Fifth graders need to organize their time and get their homework completed! Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday.

Important information Birthdays - treats need to be sent in to the main office by 11:00 a.m. Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather. We try to go out when we can. Appointments - please try to make them for before or after school. We have a very tight schedule and we do work until 3:30 p.m. everyday! Visitors - you must sign in before proceeding throughout the school.
