11 Extras… Bus riders- –according to School Board Policy, students are only to ride the bus to which they are assigned.   Please do not send in a note requesting your child ride another bus home, as this will not be allowed.  Headphones- The technology department has asked that each child bring in a pair of headphones. There are certain tests that have to be completed in the computer lab that require headphones. These can be purchased at the dollar store. “Going Green”- Centennial is continuing to ‘go green’. Newsletters, for example, will no longer be copied and sent home. You can find copies of them on the teacher’s webpage. If you need a hard copy of something, you need to call the office and request it.

12 More Extras… Lunch Money- When sending lunch money to school for your child’s account, please send it in an envelope with your child’s name, account number and teacher’s name. Absences- Only 10 absences will be approved with a parent’s signature. Anything after ten absences will require a doctor’s note or they will not be approved. You must send a note to school when your child returns. School Trip- If your family is going to be taking a trip this year, you must get it approved at least two weeks prior to the trip. The trip request form is in the back of the handbook. Only one trip can be approved and these absences will count toward your 10 ‘parent excused’ absences.
