The subjunctive is formed by starting with the UD. COMMAND then adding endings

Ex: Habl o e How to form the subjunctive of –AR verbs Start with the “yo” form present tense of a verb. Remove the “o” Ex: Habl o e Add the opposite vowel. That’s an “e” for –AR verbs Just like the UD. command

Now add the following endings: hable hables hablemos xxxxx hablen

How to form the imperative of –ER and –IR verbs Start with the “yo” form present tense of a verb. Remove the “o” Ex: Teng o a Add the opposite vowel. That’s an “a” for –ER ans –IR verbs

Use that to start- then add the endings as follows: tenga tengas tengamos xxxxx tengan
