An infinitive  To + verb Conjugate  To change a verb from its infinitive form to agree with the subject I to eat this morning. (I ate this morning.)

2 Drop the last 2 letters Cant(ar) Add the appropriate ending Canto
Two Steps Cantar  To sing (For the Yo form) Drop the last 2 letters Cant(ar) Add the appropriate ending Canto

3 Conjugation -AR Canto Cantamos Cantas Cantáis Canta Cantan
Drop the last 2 letters of the infinitive (To + verb  in Spanish, infinitives end in –AR, –ER, or –IR). 2. Add the verb ending that corresponds with the subject Nosotros (or) Any person or Group of people And “YO” (y Yo) Canto Cantamos Cantas Cantáis Canta Cantan Yo Vosotros Two or more People that Does not Include “Yo” (ellos; ellas; Uds.; Maria, Carlos, Juan y tú; Felipe y Isabel; etc.) One person That is not “Yo” or “Tú” (él; ella; Ud.; Maria; Carlos; etc.)

Cantar  To sing I sing You (tú) sing She sings We sing You (vosotros) sing They sing

5 You (vosotros) sing  Cantáis They sing  Cantan
Traduzcan Cantar  To sing I sing  Canto You (tú) sing  Cantas She sings  Canta We sing  Cantamos You (vosotros) sing  Cantáis They sing  Cantan
