2. The subjunctive is used to express a variety of moods.
It is often uncertain and subjective.
SUBJUNCTIVE CHECKLIST
The subjunctive mood has two clauses;
main and dependent/subordinate.
Typically, the subjects in the two clauses are different.
The main clause is followed by que.
ex: Espero que el viaje a España sea divertido.

3. The acronym WEIRDO covers most of the moods of the subjunctive.

Step 1: start with the present tense –yo form.
Step 2: Remove the –o
Step 3: Change the opposite ending -a

6. Irregular Subjunctive Verbs
There are irregular verbs in the subjunctive that follow no pattern.
The acronym DISHES is a way to remember the most common irregular verbs.
In the subjunctive, stem-changes & spelling changes still apply.
