IEEE Region 10 Statistics 66.7% world population live in Asia.  China and India are 1st and 2nd largest country in terms of population. 2nd, 3rd and 7th largest economies are in Asia - China, Japan and India According to the Asia Development Bank, 27% of world GDP is in Asia, and this number will be 52% in 2050 Currently, 26% of IEEE members live in R10 IEEE has offices in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangalore and one coming in Shenzhen More than1/3 of IEEE Xplore sales are from R10 More than 1/3 of IEEE conference are held in R10.
