Professional Development in the Music Industry UNIT 2

Objectives/Aims The aim of this unit is to enable you to: Explore a range of career opportunities within the music industry. View your own professional development within the music industry.

By the end of this unit you will be able to: Recall different careers of the music industry and know the progression opportunities involved. Create and monitor your own professional development plan for you own career progression in the music industry.

Different Careers in the Music Industry Performing Technical Support Recording Composition Administration Music Journalism In groups select one of the category of job roles. Think of six possible jobs which would fit into that category.
