Mount Kilauea By Gregory

In Hawaii there is a volcano named mount Kilauea In Hawaii there is a volcano named mount Kilauea. How can you live next to a volcano? Surviving next to a volcano is hard but I can tell you how.

Mount Kilauea is made from tectonic plates Mount Kilauea is made from tectonic plates. Magma pushes the tectonic plates one plate goes down making a trench. Magma comes out of the trench the magma explode making a volcanic arc.

People survive by food water and shelter. Water is found under ground People survive by food water and shelter. Water is found under ground. The food are plants pineapple spongy white berries and coconuts. The shelter is pohinahina is a mosquito repellent plant. And houses .wood metal and bricks are materials to build the shelters.

Mount Kilauea disasters are eruption landslides and earth quakes Mount Kilauea disasters are eruption landslides and earth quakes. When the plates have a trench the volcano erupts . If the rain is to strong and if there is no trees it will cause a landslide. If two plates rub against each other an earth quake will happen.

As you can see living next to a volcano is very hard As you can see living next to a volcano is very hard. There are earth quakes landsides and eruptions. But there are lots of materials to survive. Good luck living next to a volcano!
