Google Posts Here’s what we know about Google Posts so far These Google Posts generally expire within seven days after posting them If the post is about an event with a set date, the post may not expire until after the event date, even if that is more than 7 days You can promote events and tell customers about upcoming happenings at your location or you can showcase your top products and highlight new arrivals You can share daily specials or current promotions that encourage new and existing customers to take advantage of your offers by creating a CTA link in a Google Post You can choose one of the available button options to connect with your customers directly from your Google Post You can give them a one-click CTA path to make a reservation, sign up for a newsletter, buy one of your products or get a promotional offer Posts will show up in both Google search and Google map results Posts can currently only be created only in card view We will show you card view on a following slide 1) Posts expire 7 days or at the end of an event 2) you can promote events, top products or new arrivals 3) have the ability to add a specific button link in a post such as a reservation, a sign-up, a purchase, a promotional offer, or learn more 4) posts will show below search & local results 5) you need to be in card view to create posts
