Specials Day 1 – Guidance/ Health/Writing Day 2 – Gym (wear sneakers) Day 3 – Music Day 4 – Art Day 5 – Library (Bring your library books) Day 6- Computer Lab.

Extras… Bus riders- –according to School Board Policy, students are only to ride the bus to which they are assigned.   Please do not send in a note requesting your child ride another bus home, as this will not be allowed.  Headphones- The technology department has asked that each child bring in a pair of headphones. There are certain tests that have to be completed in the computer lab that require headphones. These can be purchased at the dollar store. “Going Green”- Centennial is continuing to ‘go green’. Newsletters, for example, will no longer be copied and sent home. You can find copies of them on the teacher’s webpage. If you need a hard copy of something, you need to call the office and request it.

More Extras… Lunch Money- When sending lunch money to school for your child’s account, please send it in an envelope with your child’s name, account number and teacher’s name. Absences- Only 10 absences will be approved with a parent’s signature. Anything after ten absences will require a doctor’s note or they will not be approved. You must send a note to school when your child returns. School Trip- If your family is going to be taking a trip this year, you must get it approved at least two weeks prior to the trip. The trip request form is in the back of the handbook. Only one trip can be approved and these absences will count toward your 10 ‘parent excused’ absences.

Student Information Sheet Please fill out the student information sheet and return it to school as soon as you can. This allows me to get to know your child a little bit better and see what concerns you may have

Family Passports, Family Passports will be distributed in the Wednesday Folder on September 21st  The Family Passport is a fun way for you and your kids to share some time together and make a connection at home and at school Look for the passport and directions/explanation on September 21st Our building goal is to have at least 51% of families complete the three projects during the school year Reminders will be sent throughout the year We are excited to share projects! Only one passport per family needs to be returned.

Thank You Thanks for taking time out of your day to come to Back to School Night I look forward to a very exciting year with your child Please contact me with any concern you may have
