AVID Binders What is AVID? How will an AVID binder help? AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. Lasselle Elementary will be using the AVID program to help students excel. How will an AVID binder help? The binder is one component of AVID. It teaches organization and responsibility in students through creating and maintaining an organized binder. What is in an AVID binder? EVERYTHING the students and parents need to keep updated on classroom and school events.

Homework Read a book at their level every night to meet their weekly AR goal. Instead, our brain acts like a muscle, the more we use it, the stronger and smarter it becomes.
