7 Friday Aviator Folder Folders containing tests and important school information will be sent home every Friday. Please sign tests, and return Monday. Any paperwork that needs to be signed should be signed and placed back in the “Bring Back to School” section of the folder. Please empty the contents of the “Leave at Home” section of the folder weekly.

10 “CHOICES” Behavior System
When students go “above and beyond,” they are rewarded money in their ledger, and/ or points on Class Dojo. Consistent and fair procedures Eliminates questions Ensures student success “Habits of Success” – Report Card Money in ledgers are redeemed for class rewards.

11 Choice Slips When a student’s action does not allow them to reach a goal, they receive a Choice Slip. Student writes what they will do differently next time to make a better choice. Please leave the slips stapled in the agenda. Subsequent offenses will result in consequences such as recess detention, time out in another room, office visit. * Please see Parent Handbook for Office Referral and Citation policy.

13 Grading Policy Clear expectations New Standards Based Report Cards match Common Core Standards Work that has been reviewed but not graded will be indicated by a stamp or a check mark.

14 Make-Up Work If a student is absent due to illness, they will have the same number of days they were absent to make up the class work/homework they missed. Any work missed for optional programs such as band, Christian Release, ect. must be made up. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain, understand, and complete missing work.

15 Late Work Students will be expected to complete and turn in all assignments. Late work may result in lost points. If a daily assignment is not completed in class, teacher may require work to be done at recess, or it may go home (with teacher permission) to be completed. It is due the following morning.

16 Differentiated Instruction
