New slides? questions How WTU’s work. How to track WTU’s over time for SSI elig? How many temporary librarians do other campuses have, if any? Range Elevation clarifications What is the difference between a recruited lecturer and a “bump-up” lecturer? How to go about review information & recommending salary for new PT faculty? How do other Divisions determine initial range for lecturers? (Mandates range 3 if teaching upper division more than one semester regardless of education.) Outside of a LOA, how might it be possible to protect a temporary faculty entitlement when they move to an MPP position? How to look at overload. Weekly, monthly or AY? My faculty can argue for anything and I am often not confident. How are other campuses handling the 2403 code? Tools for calculating overload for both foundation (auxiliary) and state side How to best adapt faculty procedures/forms to fit non-academic faculty appointments. Entitlement workshop Questions Determining Order of Assignment Can a FT 3yr Lecturer lose their 3yr appointment status if they start reducing their unit load and/or turning down work multiple semesters in a row. When Y3 faculty end up with a 30 unit appointment they weren’t recruited as a FT Lect is their appointment in article 12 non-conditional or do they remain as a conditional appt? Question for Chancellor Office Tech letters include PS & PIMS processing instructions. Examples for Qtr campus calculations When will everything go electronic?
