27 Criteria for promotion: Assistant to Associate Clinical Professor The primary emphasis for candidates seeking promotion to associate professor is supporting activities of the Clinic, with 6 years of service.  Clinical teaching  Outreach  Research/creative work  Service

28 Criteria for Promotion Assistant to Associate Clinical Professor  Clinical teaching (minimum 32 hours/week)  Student evaluations (evidence of teaching quality and growth over the years)  Peer evaluations (evidence of teaching quality)  Outreach  Service learning (at least two activities during each academic year)  Direct service delivery (required if case load falls below minimum 32 hours per week)

29 Criteria for promotion: Assistant to Associate Clinical Professor  Research/creative work (minimum of 20 activities)  Local (minimum 15 activities)  State/regional (maximum 4 activities)  National (maximum 4 activities)  Service  Department (participation on-going basis, committee leadership)  State/regional (no requirements)  National (no requirements)

30 Criteria for Promotion: Associate to Full Clinical Professor The primary emphasis is supporting activities of the clinic, with secondary emphasis on pursuing the candidate’s professional endeavors  Clinical teaching  Outreach  Research/creative work  Service

31 Criteria for promotion: Associate to Full Clinical Professor  Clinical teaching (minimum 32 hours/week)  Student evaluations (evidence of teaching quality and growth over the years)  Peer evaluations (evidence of teaching quality)  Outreach  Service learning (at least three activities during each academic year)  Direct service delivery (required if case load falls below minimum 32 hours per week)
