Official Transcript What is it? Your official academic record Lists all high school courses you have taken, total credits earned, and semester/year grades for each class. Shows annual grade point average (GPA) and cumulative GPA

Remember – You only use semester/year grades. Calculate your GPA Your official school GPA is based on your semester grades for courses taken in grades 9- 12. Each letter grade has a point value Honors and AP courses are weighted and have a higher point value Add up the point value for each class and divide by the number of classes Remember – You only use semester/year grades.

PSAT/NMSQ The PSAT will be administered to all juniors on November 2, 2016 during 1st and 2nd periods Registration will begin in October at school Cost: tbd (usually around $14) Forms and payment should be given to Mrs. Lacks in the US office

Summer Junior Timeline Visit more colleges Decide which colleges to which you will apply (create folder for each) Research app deadlines for those schools Work on applications, essays, and Common App.
