4 Grade Point Average (GPA)
Your grade point average or GPA is the average, on a scale of 0 – 4 of the grades you have received in each marking period, midterm and final exam. It accumulates over 4 years. Unweighted GPA combines grades you earn in any class. Weighted GPA combines grades earned in all classes and includes the bonus quality point for taking a more rigorous class. Honors – 0.5 bonus quality point AP – 1 bonus quality point

5 Rank Class rank is the order of students in regard to their performance in their courses of study as compared to peers in the same grade Determined by weighted GPA Displayed on transcripts

6 Optional Elective Credits
Delaware Volunteer Credit 90 hours of service = 1 elective credit (can accumulate) Locate a non-profit agency & paperwork packet through Provide documentation of 90 hours of service by April 1st to your counselor Administrative Work Credit 150 hours of work = 1 elective credit (can accumulate) Bring pay stubs as documentation to your counselor *Each can only be used 1 time throughout your high school career

9 National Collegiate Athletic Association: NCAA
Eligibility Center determines athletic eligibility for college sports based on GPA and SAT cut scores. Minimum 2.3 GPA required for Division I. Create an account during 11th grade and submit transcript (fee of $75) Athletic Aid is only given for Division I and II to download the College Bound Student Athlete Guide
