OrigamiProject 8y1 Logo Competition Finalists

O The Finalists for the logo competition are: O Milo Clark O Chloe Adlington Well done to everyone that entered. Sorry to the people that didn’t get through to the finals. I chose the winners because of the designs. The designs all fit the design specifications. The winners were judged on creativity, originality and individuality.

A quick run through of the rules. 1- The logo must fit the banner at the top of this page 2- The logo must be catchy, colourful, and appropriate 3- You can sample only 1 picture from the internet, the rest of the design must be yours 4- The logo must feature the words 8y1 Origami Project somewhere on it 5- Try and attach the file as a picture file. If you can't, give me a Powerpoint slide of the completed logo. 6- Be Creative

MILO CLARK

My Thoughts The First design is by Milo Clark. He made the design using Microsoft PowerPoint, which was the easiest option. Milo used PowerPoint to a very high level, filling the design with different gradients of colour. Milo did really well making this and I am really happy with his design.

Design Specifications O 1- The logo must fit the banner at the top of this page O 2- The logo must be catchy, colourful, and appropriate O 3- You can sample only 1 picture from the internet, the rest of the design must be yours O 4- The logo must feature the words 8y1 Origami Project somewhere on it O 5- Try and attach the file as a picture file. If you can't, give me a Powerpoint slide of the completed logo. O 6- Be Creative

1- The logo must fit the banner at the top of this page This is the banner. I am sure it will fit well.

2- The logo must be catchy, colourful, and appropriate Milo’s design is colourful, catchy and appropriate. Milo used a colour mixing tool to achieve this effect. Well done!

3- You can sample only 1 picture from the internet, the rest of the design must be yours Milo did not use any pictures from the internet. A very original design!

4- The logo must feature the words 8y1 Origami Project somewhere on it O Milo’s design does not have the words 8y1 Origami Project on it, but does have the word origami- which is good. He used 1/3 words for this rule.

5- Try and attach the file as a picture file. If you can't, give me a PowerPoint slide of the completed logo. O I have already checked this, and I have converted Milo’s design into a picture file. ☺

6- Be creative Milo was really creative with his design and he used a range of tools on PowerPoint which is good for his graphic design skills.

So… O Overall, a really good design. Well done Milo!

CHLOE ADLINGTON

My Thoughts The second design is by Chloe Adlington. I think Chloe used Microsoft PowerPoint whilst making this logo. Chloe has made a really good design and I really like it. ☺
