Expectations: Announcements Voice level: zero. No talking or noise. Save your questions until after the announcements. Silently prepare for your Do Now. Don’t move around the room unless you need to get materials for the Do Now. Begin your Do Now as you listen to announcements. We will continue with the Do Now after announcements are finished.

Expectations: Writing/translation Voice level: low volume talking around task. If you need help, first reference your notes or a classmate. Raise your hand to get my attention. Complete work in the allotted time frame. Stay at your desk unless you need to sharpen a pencil. Sit at desk and write until finished.

Workbook Page 56, 57 or 58 DO NOT WRITE ON THE BOOK!!! When you finish, do page 105, 106, OR 107 for ER/IR verbs.

Matamoscas The class is divided in half to make two teams. Each team sends up a player to the board. The player stands with their back to the board facing their team. The teacher calls out words. The players turn around quickly and try to swat the words. First person to swat the correct word gets the point. If the player can’t find the word, the team can help direct them by saying “derecha (right), izquierda (left), abajo (down), arriba (up).” If the player swats the wrong word, they have to wait for the other team’s player to swat before they can swat again.

Workbook Complete p. 6 on piece of notebook paper.

Charades – Activities vocab Class is divided in half to make two teams. One player comes up from each team. If the player knows the word without asking the team gets 1 pt. The player must act out the word. People on the team must guess the word. If the team guesses correctly they get another point.
