Five Components of Fitness By Kylie

Cardiorespiratory Endurance Cardiorespiratory Endurance is the ability of your heart and lungs to get oxygen to the muscles during long periods of time of exercise. For this to be effective you need to do Cardiorespiratory 3-5 times a week for 20 + minutes.

Cardiorespiratory Endurance 3 examples of Cardiorespiratory Endurance are jogging the track, playing tag, and swimming laps. A test for Cardiorespiratory Endurance is the Pacer Test.

Flexibility Flexibility is the muscles' ability to move a joint through a full range of motion. For this to be effective you must stretch daily, hold the stretch seconds, and repeat 2-3 times.

Flexibility 3 activities for Flexibility are butterfly stretch, hurdlers stretch, and the straight-legged stretch. A test for Flexibility is the Sit and Reach Test.

Muscular Endurance Muscular Endurance is the ability of the muscles to repeat a movement 12 + times or holding a position without rest. muscles. For this to be effective it must done 3 times a week. Reps don't have to be maxed out, you need to do a set amount in a minute or 3 sets of 20 muscular endurance exercises.

Muscular Endurance 3 activity’s for Muscular Endurance are sit ups, crunches, and curl ups. A test for Muscular Endurance is the Sit Up test.

Muscular Strength Muscular strength is the ability of a muscle or muscles to push or pull with its total force. For this to be effective you must do this 3 times a week, doing 3 sets of 8 or max out. To increase difficulty add weights.

Muscular Strength 3 activities for Muscular Strength are push ups, fly aways, and sit ups. A test for Muscular Strength is the Push Up Test.

Body Composition Fat vs. fat free Mass You need proper rest, balanced diet, healthy exercise.

Body Composition 3 activities for Body Composition are running, push ups, and eating right. A test for Body Composition is Body Mass Index or BMI.
