The 3 Jobs I would Like to have Electrical Engineer (Electronic) Computer Software Engineer Computer Programmer By Eric Hamilton

Electrical Engineers: What they Do ● Responsible for a wide range of technologies which include devices like portable music players to GPS systems ● They design, test, and supervise the manufacture of electronic equipment. ● Specialize in communications, signal processing, and control systems or have a specialty with robot control systems, aviation electronics, etc.

Electrical Engineers: Working Conditions ● They usually work in office building, laboratories, or industrial plants. ● Many work 40-hour weeks ● At times deadlines or design standards may exert more pressure on the work.

Electrical Engineers: Training and Requirements ● Bachelors degree required for entry-level jobs. ● Being trained in one branch can qualify you for another. ● Mathematics and physical sciences are good to have. ● They should be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detailed oriented.

Computer Software Engineers: What They Do ● Software engineers working in applications or systems development analyze users’ needs and design, construct, test, and maintain computer applications software or systems. ● They work for companies that configure, implement, and install computer systems. ● Often work apart of a team that designs new hardware, software, and systems.

Computer Software Engineers: Working Conditions ● Work in well-lighted and comfortable offices or laboratories in which computer equipment is available. ● Interact regularly with customers and coworkers and often travel away from their offices to meet overnight with clients.

Computer Software Engineers: Training and Requirements ● Prefers people with a bachelors degree. ● Advanced degrees in the field are going to be sought after because of the computer's security problems. ● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are needed. ● Since the computer field is fast-growing the demand for new skills is high.

Computer Programmers: What They Do ● Computer programmers write, test, and maintain the detailed instructions, called programs, that computers must follow to perform their functions. Programmers also conceive, design, and test logical structures for solving problems by computer. ● Update, modify, repair, and expand existing programs. ● Write programs to the specifications of the computer software engineers.

Computer Programmers: Working Conditions ● Work in offices with comfortable surroundings ● May work long hours or weekends to make a critical deadline. ● Since they may spend a long time looking at a computer they may experience eyestrain, back discomfort, and hand and wrist problems.

Computer Programmers: Training and Requirements ● Bachelor's degrees our commonly required, although some 2-year graduates may get in at a certain level job. ● Employers are primarily interested in people who have programming knowledge, pay close attention, and think logically. ● Entry-level or junior programmers may work alone on simple assignments after some initial instruction, or they may be assigned to work on a team with more experienced programmers were supervision is necessary.
