Antibiotics- Antibiotics are medicines used to treat infections or diseases caused by bacteria Anti-inflamatory- Used to reduce inflammation Pain killers- Prescription painkillers are powerful drugs that interfere with the nervous system’s transmission of the nerve signals we perceive as pain. Most painkillers also stimulate portions of the brain associated with pleasure.

Legal recreational drugs- Recreational drugs are taken by people to alter their mood.

Alcohol- The alcohol in alcoholic drinks such as wines, beer and spirits is ethanol, which is a depressant, meaning that it slows down signals in the nerves and brain. Coffee- Increases heart rate and your stimulants Nicotine- Nicotine is the addictive substance in tobacco smoke. It reaches the brain within 20 seconds and creates a dependency so that smokers become addicted.

Recreational drug- Use is the use of a psychoactive drug (legal, controlled, or illegal) with the primary intention to alter the state of consciousness (through alteration of the central nervous system) in order to create positive emotions and feelings.

Heroine- Heroin binds to and activates specific receptors in the brain called mu-opioid receptors (MORs). Cocaine- The reality of cocaine hits after the high. Cocaine has powerful negative effects on the heart, brain, and emotions. Methamphetamine- Make heart rate increase and eyes dilate.

Addiction- The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity. Example: Crystal Meth addiction

Brain damage. Binge drinking can cause blackouts, memory loss and anxiety. Long-term drinking can result in permanent brain damage, serious mental health problems and alcohol dependence or alcoholism.

As a powerful stimulant, methamphetamine, even in small doses, can increase wakefulness and physical activity and decrease appetite. Methamphetamine can also cause a variety of cardiovascular problems, including rapid heart rate, irregular heartbeat, and increased blood pressure.

You can't count on them to do what they say they will do. They may forget or get distracted because their focus is on getting and taking drugs. They might lie or steal money to buy drugs. They might get fired from their jobs, cant provide They might not come home at night. They may do bad things they would never do if they weren't abusing drugs. Divorce rates are high
