College and Career Readiness Prepared for Success is the report card measure aligned to Ohio’s initiative around college and career readiness Ohio’s New Graduation Requirements Statewide administration of college admissions test Emphasis on and funding of industry credentials College Credit Plus

Prepared for Success language The Prepared for Success Component combines:  Honors Diploma  Remediation-free score on college admissions test  Industry Credentials  Advanced Placement scores  International Baccalaureate scores  College Credit Plus credit earned When determining the overall grade, no student shall be counted in more than one performance measure, but the state board may specify an additional weight for students meeting more than one performance measure. The measure is based on the four- and five-year cohort.

Measure Framework One point awarded for students who:  Earn credit for being remediation-free on the ACT or SAT,  Earn an Industry-recognized credentials  Earn an Honors Diploma Bonus of up to.3 points can be earned for students who:  Earn a 3 or better on an AP exam,  Earn a 4 or better on an IB exam, or  Earn 3 credits through college credit plus To earn the bonus, students must have earned the point in the top tier of the measure

Measure Framework A student must be remediation free, obtain industry credentials, or earn an Honors Diploma A student with AP, IB, or post secondary credits will earn bonus points Honors Diploma Industry Credentials Remediation Free on ACT/SAT College Credit Plus Advanced Placement International Baccalaureate A student must have one of these Bonus points if a student has one of these AND has one of the first three

Prepared for Success Grading Scale Component will be graded for the first time on the 2016 report card Per state law, beginning with the school year, the state board of education will review and may adjust the benchmarks for assigning letter grades to report card measures and components.
