Equipment and Software By: Daniel Snyder

Staying fit and Healthy  The main goal for my students would be to help them stay in shape and better their eating habits.  Help promote more physical activity  Make it fun and exciting for them

Mac Computers  Mac book Pro  About $1,500 each   The purpose of the Mac books would be students could use them for the dietary program and research.  The benefit to the macs are they don’t crash like PC’s and they last long.

Dietary Analysis Software  This is a program that is used on the computer to help students track their food intake.  This helps to make better food choices and correct portion sizes.  rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Adiet%20analysis%20softw are rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Adiet%20analysis%20softw are  About $40.00 for the software

Dietary Analysis Software  Great thing that students can use throughout their lives  You need a computer to use the software so the MacBook's would be used for that.

Pro Series 16, 3000 Lumens Hi- Def HDMI LED Video Projector  The benefit to having a projector is you can show videos and demonstrations to the whole class at once. You can use this with the MacBook  Bring technology into the class to save paper handouts.  Students can use it for demonstrations, and presentations of projects and their diet analysis  asp?Cat= asp?Cat=1869  Cost: about $ $1,200

Exercise Mats  Yoga mats are great tools because each students can have there own  They are fairly cheap, about $15.00-$30  Last a long time  Make students feel more comfortable about being on the ground for exercises that they will be learning and participating in  You can find them on amazon or in a sporting good store

Resistance Bands  Great exercise tool  You can use them for multiple exercises  Fairly inexpensive sets start at $  Anyone can use them  Fun for all  You can find them on

 The yoga mats and exercise bands would be tied into this lesson because without proper exercise the dietary analysis is only helping show the students food intake and its not helping them improve.  Proper exercise is key when eating healthy to see results in energy levels and physical shape.

Conclusion  With the implementation of these pieces of equipment in the classroom I feel students would be able to have fun and stay in shape.  They would learn about portion control and how to exercise daily.  Make life changing decisions  Learn how to track their foods
