 The key to finding and having a successful career is doing something that you're not only good at but that you enjoy or love doing. Take some time to assess what your strongest skills are and what your personality and values consist of so you can make decisions about getting more training, education, certifications, etc. Know what your passionate and interested in and you'll be on your way to finding your dream job. If you don't have a card we offer internet passes for $1 an hour.  We all have a network of people who can aid us in our job search. Ask friends, family, co-workers, professional organization members and others for references and recommendations for job openings. Previous PageNext Page

 Many interviewees skip this small but important detail after an interview that sometimes makes the difference between getting the job or getting passed over. Whenever you finish an interview, send a follow up no more than 3 days later to refresh the employer on who you are, what you hope to bring to the company, and any details you might have forgotten during the interview that showcase why you're the best person for the job.  Some people are lucky and get a call back in a matter of days, but for many more people it can take weeks or even months to get an interview. Be patient and don't get discouraged if it's taking awhile.
