2009 start of the EU Coast Guard Functions Forum (ECGFF) The overall aims of the Forum is to study, contribute to and promote understanding and development of maritime issues of importance and of common interest related to Coast Guard Functions across borders and sectors, both civil and military, and to contribute to progress in the various CGF activities. The European Coast Guard Functions Forum is a non-binding, voluntary, independent and non-political forum. Sponsored by Frontex NACGF and ECGFF 2007 start of North Atlantic Coast Guard Forum (NACGF) The objective of the North Atlantic Coast Guard Forum (NACGF) is to increase cooperation amongst member countries on matters related to maritime safety and safety in the region. Non-binding, voluntary, neither policy nor regulatory-oriented, operate within existing legal frameworks. No duplication with other international fora.
